'Twas a good movie, quite a lot of scenes made be laugh quite a bit, just like most of your movies. It's great that you've managed to keep the same level of humour through-out all of your movies and I think in this one it really shows.
Some little things to gripe, one the floor bricks looked a little weird (either JPGed or extra shade) but then it looked fine in one of the later scenes. Also one of the custom sprites with Luigi pointing, the arm was way too long, small things but I just have to mention them becuase they were the two that stood out to be the most.
Like I said your humour is golden and this one really shows it. Using original jokes interspersed with songs won't get old anytime soon, so it was awesome knowing that the bigfoot humour would be there and it was better than usual.
Funny, I was talking to Daniel Sun this morning about the small amount of awesome sprite animators left and your name came up with the usual 'yeah well Ive not seen any movie by him lately', so mabye we should make those comments more often so I can see more of the 3290!

I agree with you on those two flaws. The first scene of this movie was made a while ago, so I guess it just slipped my mind (I'm pretty sure it's a jpg). When I made Luigi's arm, I knew I had made it too long, but I thought it was just so funny looking and decided to keep it.
I'm sorry about the lack of movies recently. School and sports have held me back from flashing this year, but fortunately, my schedule seems to be clearin' up. Anyway, I'm glad I can still impress some of the best spritists (such as yourself) after all these months. I guess I still got it afterall :]

I was hoping that this would be awesome and make me believe sprite movies are kicking ass again, but I guess this didn't live up to that.
The first thing I noticed when I opened it was the sprite clash with Mario and the tank, I hate this so much. 8-bit and 16-bit sprites should never be together at all unless becuase it doesn't work (unless it works which is very rarely), this also happened in the enhancement scene when the 8-bit goomba came it, I just hate that so much, please try and use the correct bitage.
Another not-so bad thing is the blackbox lipsync. It feels really tacked on and doesn't look that well, I suggest making some mouth sprites instead and use that to lip sync.
The iPod thing... eh. Doing those animations is really beating a dead iHorse, not only did they change the style of the adverts but they're so boring to watch and take no effort to tint an animation black and draw a line.
Also, Family Guy audio and that abuse advert. Syncing to already used audio is pretty stupid unless it's a music video. It's realy the same gripe with phoenix wrong, the original audio is awesome but that doesn't mean syncing it to sprites will carry over that hilarity too.
So that's really my review. It was good don't get me wrong, just some scenes were a bit poor in quality and what they were about. I good attempt and if you guys make anymore shorts than hopefully you'll be able to improve in the areas that need improving.

I love these reviews so much. My favorite kind. Thank you for reviewing with constructive criticism. There was A LOT more sound clips of things. mostly ripped from family guy. I declined them, and only kept the best two. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't plan on spriting again, but i'm sure the spriters in this collab could benefit. Thank you for that awesome review!

Really nice movie man, great animation. I loved the effects you used (especially the cyclone kick) and they made it more interesting to watch. But sometimes I felt the character were too close up to the camera. Regardless I can't wait to see what else you can come up with, Double Dragon related or otherwise. :D

Check Amazon for it. It's called 'When We Were Young'. Bear in mind the version of Hypocrite is grislier, swearier and makes references to urinating in sinks.

To be honest, this is a terrable flash. Most of the skits end with a random person screaming or have no real point to it. I also hate it when people mix 16-bit sprites with 8-bit sprites, I just really hate it as it looks weird, in this flash that happened a lot.
What I don't understand about you Rebaz is that you seem to hate animators like MajinPiccolo and I, making fun of what we do in our free time for our own enjoyment, I seriously couldn't care less if everyone hated my Thwomp series, I enjoy making them becuase they are fun for me to make. I am annoyed at the fact that you are also making fun of me personally, lol dude I get enough of that at school :D
I'd just like to say also that you are probably thee most hypocritical person I have come across on the internet. You said you hate Skittles 'N Bitz, fair enough. Tweening is stupid is it? "i do not know why people like that crap [thwomps] '. its allot of tweening..." Ok fair enough. But this entire flash is tweening, and you are using the same transaction that majin used in his SnB series.
The movie in general is filled with stupid jokes that have less meaning than a SoaD song. You guys really need to find a type of humour that is funny, becuase this completely sucks, I didn't enjoy any 'skit' on it and I seriously hope you didn't take over an hour on this crap.
I know you (rebaz) will just reply with some stupid review that no-one can understand becuase you have so many typos that I think you're speaking in frengman language. So becuase Rebaz can't read a review longer than 5 words I'll simply it for you.

I enjoyed watching this, a lot of my favourite skits were in this and I think it's in perfect order. (except that the Psycho Waddle Dee one should've been number 1 :D) 'The best of' movies are kinda of cheap but I don't think that matters a lot, I think most people would've been fine with a 'best of Super Mario Land' but you went better and inlcuded your other movies as well. I also knew that To Daisy's Rescue would be at number 1 becuase it would've been weird having the SML series ending skit followed up by a joke skit.
Overall it's a great humour-filled flash, and I hope you continue making ehose types of movies. (It was pretty cool seeing my review in there as well.)

You know, you're right. Psycho Waddle Dee should've been a bit higher. At first, I considered doing the "Best of SML", but there aren't enough skits to do more than a Top 8. This way, I put some variety in (8-32bit sprites and characters other than mario :D). And as for putting in your review, it's the least I could do. You've always been there and I've watched you evolve into such a powerful artist ever since World 1-4. Good luck in the future, man!
